Hi,
i tried to run :
/postgresql-9.0.4-1-linux.bin
but i received segmentation fault error. So i think, after Steve reply, that
the best way to install postgresql 9.0 is to install Ubuntu 10.04. Am i
right?
Thanks for your help,

Best depends on lots of things. Just want to play with PostgreSQL a bit
on your current desktop with minimum fuss and you don't worry about the
lack of support for that version then try the one-click installer or
Scott's suggestions.

But if updating to 10.04 is an option you will be on the most-recent
long-term-support version which brings other benefits including updated
packages, bug and security fixes and support (10.04LTS server-edition is
supported to April 2015).

Cheers,
Steve
