postgres 8.4 autovacuum and XID wraparound

I have autovacuum turned on in an 8.4 installation.  On other 8.1
boxes..I manually run vacuumdb periodically to reset the XID
wraparound counter.

Do I still need to run vacuumdb separately on 8.4 to reset the counter
with autovacuum turned on.
