PostgreSQL error (new user)

From
Joshua Ort
Date:
I'm repeatedly getting the following error from
dbDeveloper when trying to access my new 8.0.3
database.

---------------------------------------------------------
ERROR: operator does not exist: pg_namespace -> oid
HINT: No operator matches the given name and argument
type(s). You may need to add explicit type casts.
---------------------------------------------------------

Any guidance here would be much appreciated.

Josh

You should probably be asking the dbDeveloper folk about that.
I can easily think of queries that would provoke it, eg

regression=# select pg_namespace->oid from pg_namespace;
ERROR: operator does not exist: pg_namespace -> oid

but not any *valid* query that would provoke it. I'm wondering if
some bit of dbDeveloper is confused between C code and SQL code
and is thinking that it should write pg_namespace->oid when
pg_namespace.oid is really the proper syntax ...
