Thread: PostgreSQL Installation
Is there a way of installing PostgreSQL 8.0.3 not by compiling the source code and not by using rpm? Is there binary files (already compiled) for installation? Installing PostgreSQL in these two ways cause many problems with missing libraries and/or files. Thanks! **************************************** O grande portal dos mineiros http://www.uai.com.br

See http://www.PostgreSQL.org/ftp/binary for binaries. Also remember to install http://developer.PostgreSQL.org/~devrim/compat-postgresql-libs-3-3PGDG.i686.rpm before installing all RPMs. Regards, -- Devrim GUNDUZ devrim~gunduz.org, devrim~PostgreSQL.org, devrim.gunduz~linux.org.tr http://www.tdmsoft.com.tr http://www.gunduz.org
