Thread: user specific limit for connections

Hi,
is there a way to limit the number of connections for certain users.

We have a system with some apps connected and partitioned the connections.
So each app has a number of granted conns. However it happened that one app
ran ammok and took much more connections that int ought to.

Write now, all you can do is reserve some connections for superusers.

I remember some talk at one time about doing some per user limits,
but I don't think anyone is working on it at this time.
