amnot able to start it as a service from the control panel (I have set it to start manually).  But if I bring up
pgAdminIII UI, I can connect to the db from there.<br /><br />any ideas on how to get the windows service working?<br

Hi,

You need to give more information - what error messages are you getting, 
if any, etc. etc. It would be a good idea too to post to the 
pgsql-general list, which deals with PostgreSQL issues and where you may 
have a wider audience - this list is for PgAdmin only.
