pgadmin3 on freebsd

From

Hello,

I have just discovered a problem with the pgadmin3 port on FreeBSD.

I attempted to do a portinstall of pgadmin3, and it failed, telling me
that wxgtk2-devel-2.5.2 conflicts with wxgtk-common-2.4.2_1.

I need wxgtk-common-2.4.2_1, because that is a dependency of py23-WxPython.

Does anybody know what I can do/what my options are if I want pgadmin3
and WxPython to coexist on the same machine?

Thanks,
Duane Winner

Yeah,
Its condition isn't fine with ports for wxWidets-2.5.x by it is not a normal release.
They are in the confusion.:-(
Time for a while should be necessary in this stability.<Sigh>

Try to use this, please.
http://developer.pgadmin.org/
There is binary here prepared for for each release of 4.9,4.10,5.1,5.2.
Tell me if there is what or a problem.

P.S)
Approve it though an answer tends to be delayed because I am variously busy.

Hello Hiroshi,

I attempted to install the binary for 5.2
(# pkg_add pgadmin3-20040618.tgz).

However, it seems it is looking for packages that are slightly later
versions than what I have in my ports collection:

pkg_add: could not find package gtk-2.4.0 !
pkg_add: could not find package pango-1.4.0 !
pkg_add: could not find package libiconv-1.9.1_3 !

I have:
gtk-1.2.10_12 = up-to-date with port
gtk-2.4.4 = up-to-date with port
libiconv-1.9.2 = up-to-date with port
pango-1.4.0_1 = up-to-date with port

I'm not sure what to try next.

Regards,
Duane Winner

Wait for a while..
(Two days are needed because it won't be able to work tomorrow.)

BTW,Are you using 5.2.1R?

Ahh..
I am distressed, worries should follow RELEASE-px.
Where should an offer binary to the target.
I must examine liblary competent sources.
