Hi,
I have many problems installing pgadmin3 on my RH 7.1 box. I get hundreds of
dependency errors and conflicts.

Trying to install the needed packages I find many more errors so I'm getting
frustrated.
Would anybody suggest me something to shortcut these annoying messages?

Many thanks,

The problem here is that you are using a quite old version of RedHat;
the RPMs that we distribute are created for RH 9 and FC1. We've talked
about creating a 7.3 RPM, but we've never had a call for a 7.1 one.
Have you tried building from source? Otherwise, I'm sure we (or I) can
take a look at getting the RPM to build on RH 7.1, but I'd be willing to
bet that it's probably too old for wxWindows (just a guess, though).

Hi,
I admit that RH 7.1 is rather old, but it would be very painful to upgrade -
I think.
All right, I supppose I should use an old version of pgadmin if I use an old
version of opsystem. It seems to be obvious...

By the way WinXP version works fine so I do not have to miss the companion
of PGAdmin3. :) Just have an extra machine running XP.

Thank you for your reply.

Bye,
