They are actually in an order, just not an ideal one (it's something like domains, composite types, actual types, array
types,each in alphabetical order).
It's not an order that works for me either, and is something I plan to work on soon, in addition to using more friendly
SQLstandard names where appropriate (e.g. integer, double precision etc.
