I've not seen any problems building with VC++ 6.0 (I use it all the
time). Perhaps something else is broken in your environment?

I use it too.?_?
Ahh, I used libxml2_a.lib for the link of static.

(Sorry, this is japanese)
libxml2_a.lib(xpath.obj) : error LNK2001: xxxxxx "__ftol2" xxxxxx
libxml2_a.lib(xmlschemastypes.obj) : error LNK2001: xxxxxx "__ftol2" xxxxxxx
libxml2_a.lib(xpointer.obj) : error LNK2001: xxxxxx "__ftol2" xxxxxx
Unicode_SSL_Release/pgAdmin3.exe : fatal error LNK1120: xxxxxxx

However, It is saved by patch.
