Friends,

I am having quite a problem getting postgresql to work on NT. I've read many
of the posts on NT problems, looked in the archives, documentation,
sourcefiles, played around and I am stuck. I cannot get initdb to complete
successfully. initdb outputs the following in debug mode: ( I added a couple
of statements to get a better view of what was happening )

Creating view pg_user.

initdb failed.
Removing //d/usr/local/pgsql/data.
Removing temp file /tmp/initdb.7743.

Any ideas on what is not working properly? If there are any binaries for NT
that would just short circuit any build problems I might have injected (I am
new to cygwin) then I would really appreciate that as well. Thanks in
advance.
