I think I have to just edit yum repos by hand.

To enable the crb repository:

1. Open /etc/yum.repos.d/rocky.repo.
2. Locate the [crb] section.
3. Change enabled=0 to enabled=1.
4. Save the file.
5. Run sudo dnf update.

extensions against PGDG's RedHat packages right now. Please advise.

You need to enable Rocky's Code Ready Builder repo like this:

dnf config-manager --set-enabled crb

Not sure what the answer is for Alma/RH
