List pgadmin-support
Hi Jacqueline,

From where you downloaded the PostgreSQL?

You can download and install different versions of PostgreSQL from https://www.enterprisedb.com/downloads/postgres-postgresql-downloads.

Then you can download and install latest version of pgAdmin 4 directly from https://www.pgadmin.org/download/.

pgAdmin 4 will auto detect the PostgreSQL servers present in your system, check it once after installing pgAdmin 4. If the server is not auto detected then you can add the server to pgAdmin 4.

Please let me know if you have any other doubts or are facing any issues.

Thanks
Anil

Hi! I'm a student and new to pgAdmin. I downloaded pgAdmin through a .dmg file. First, I installed PostgreSQL 15.4-1, but it kept crashing every time I opened pgAdmin. I looked for answers on forums like GitHub and Stack Overflow. Some users said they fixed their issues by downloading the latest version, so I downloaded PostgreSQL 16.3-1, but it's still crashing. I'm also wondering if it's not compatible with my laptop. I'm using a MacBook Air 13-inch (Early 2015) with macOS Monterey. I’m reaching out directly in case someone can explain why this is happening. Thank you.
