Are you talking about a true postgres text field and not a varchar field?  I think the text fields are postgres specific..

Subject: [NOVICE] Postgres and Crystal Reports

Has anyone out there worked with Crystal Reports and PostgreSQL?  We have an intranet site, currently in Oracle with many Crystal Reports files, which we are converting to PostgreSQL; the issue is that Crystal apparently cannot read Postgres text fields--when you point a report at a table/view that contains text fields, the text fields are simply not listed in Crystal;
We were wondering if: 1) could this be an issue with the ODBC drivers?  (We're using the ODBC drivers installed with pgAdmin II 1.4.12); 2) if this is an ODBC issue, is there another source for the ODBC drivers?;
