Thanks again Dave,
I went to a non-functional instance, removed all wxwidgets3.0, removed
all pgadmin3 1.22 (that was installed from Ubuntu's package), made sure
wxwidgets2.8 deps were there, downloaded source pgadmin 1.22, compiled
etc.
** It works now.
I also noticed that Archlinux packages pgadmin3 1.22 with wxwidgets2.8.
And, as you indicated Ubuntu packages pgadamin3 1.22 with wxwidgets3.0.
Looking forward to pgadmin4.
Now back to getting replication going.
Stan

We've never fullytested with 3.0, so there are almost certainly known issues with sucha build. It is recommended that packagers use 2.8 at the moment, so Iwould suggest complaining to whoever built your packages. In the meantime, I'll try to find time to take a look at the issue, but if I'm honest most of my attention is on pgAdmin 4 right now. Partof the reason we're working on that is that there are just too manyproblems with wxWidgets that we have to keep working around.Thanks.On Wed, Feb 3, 2016 at 6:35 PM, StanC <stancruise@me.com> wrote:Here it is: (beside the ** lines). The easiest way to get that info is to runthe following command on each system:apt-cache showpkg pgadmin3Can you get me that output please? Thanks. On Tue, Feb 2, 2016 at 8:01 PM, StanC <stancruise@me.com> wrote:Many thanks for your reply. In addition to the summary below, I have attached a bunch of files thatare screen captures of the synaptic properties of wxwidgets, pgadmin3for each of the instances. The filenames are prefixed with the numberthat relates to each of the instances below (4 & 5 being the samemachine). A text file is included for each instance whose filenameindicates the OS and pgadmin3 versions. In the cases where wxwidgets is 3.0, this is the default for the OS.In the cases where there is both 2.8 and 3.0, I manually installed the2.8 but from synaptic. In the case with 2.8 only (#3), this was the default for 14.04.For all of my trials, the only success has been if pgadmin3-1.18 is thedefault, or if I manually installed (compiled from source) 1.18.Note, I added (hopefully not impacting) info regarding type of machines,as in VM, host. In other situations, I have seen some screen drawingstuff that is impacted by VM, host combinations etc, but I really don'tthink this is involved here, especially since behaviour is exactly thesame for #1 and 2.Distribution: Machine instances:1. malfunctional: binary: Mate Ubuntu 15.10 pgadmin3-1.22.0-1.pgdg15.10+3hyper-v guest, win2012 hostwxwidgets3.02. malfunctional: binary: Mate Ubuntu 15.10 pgadmin3-1.20.0 (upgradedto 1.22 so I don't have the exact suffix)kvm guest, centos6.7 hostwxwidgets3.0wxwidgets2.83. functional: Ubuntu Unity 14.04 pgadmin3-1.18.1-2hyper-v guest, win10 hostwxwidgets2.84. malfunctional: Ubuntu Unity 15.04 pgadmin3-1.20.0~beta2-1hyper-v guest, win10 hostwxwidgets3.0wxwidgets2.85. functional: source tarball: Ubuntu Unity 15.04 pgadmin3-1.18.0.tar.gz< compiled and installed on same machine as #4 above. On Tue, 2016-02-02 at 11:18 +0000, Dave Page wrote:HiWhat version of wxWidgets is used by the pgAdmin build on each ofthose machines? Thanks. On Tue, Feb 2, 2016 at 3:26 AM, StanC <stancruise@me.com> wrote:Bug report details follows this summary:When accessing the Server Status dialog, it consistently presents blankwindows, no headings, columns, and no data. This occurs for 1.20 and 1.22.
