I noticed that after upgrading two PostgreSQL windows servers from 8.2.3 to 8.2.4 that the
installed documentation is still for 8.2.3 remained.  Was this intended, or did I make a mistake
during the upgrade?

P.S.  I was very happy with how easily the upgrade process for Win32 was!
