In the "large enterprise support" category, GIS giant ESRI is going to
provide support for PostgreSQL in their "database neutral"
franken-product ArcSDE <http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/arcsde>.
This development has been rumored for many years, and the official
announcement probably represents a new low in rocky Oracle/ESRI business
relationship.
