How about avoiding #define altogether, and:
- Always use pgrename/pgunlink instead of rename/unlink
- Provide stubs for non-Win32 systems
#ifndef WIN32
int pgrename(const char *from, const char *to) {
return rename(from,to);
}
#endif
#define is evil, afterall.
