Hi,

I am trying to figure out how to install Postgresl with SSL support, using
OpenSSL, on the SGI platform (IRIX 6.5). So far, I have managed to get
OpenSSL running but I had some problems with EGD/PRNG. I found out that
OpenSSL somehow looks at $HOME/.rnd or I will have to specify the name of
the random device in the openssl command line.

I managed to compile and run Postgresql with OpenSSL, i.e. with the -l
option in startup of pg_ctl or postmaster. However, when I tried to run
psql, I got the same error message about EGD/PRNG as I got above. I tried
to search the web sites, and even got Bruce Momjian's book from the library,
but could not get a detailed description on how to set up and run with SSL.
Anyone out there can help?

Thanks in advance,
