Seriously? You think this rational, collegiate discussion is a "shit-fest"?
I'd hate to see what happens when you run into a real shit-fest.

It's clear everyone is treating EDB folks as contributors. But they get
no free lunch from us. And, as Robert pointed out, part of this is on EDB,
but part is on us - pgsql-announce is a fully moderated list, which frankly
seems to have some approve-trigger-happy mods, as things get approved which
should not far too often, IMHO. We've asked EDB what they are going to
do to prevent this from happening again, but what are we going to do
on our end?
