I get the same problem on my alpha running Digital Unix 4.0 with the
latest snapshot.. I'll start looking into it as well..

Hi All,

I am looking into the problem with initdb running on a linux alpha. For
some reason, when the postgres backend is running in -boot mode, when it
gets to parsing the last 10 or so directives in lib/local...bki, it bombs
out, claiming that function mkoidname(opaque, opaque) is not found.
