touse pgAgent as a scheduling service on a Windows machine. I could install everything right and also implemented my
schedulewith a batch script in pgAgent. My problem is that I also installed pgAgent as a service on the windows server
2003but I am not able to start the service. Every time I start the service I get the message: the service started and
thenstopped … because it has nothing to do…. Something like that. So the service is not running which means I do not
getthe automatical backup of my database I would like to have. Does anybody know why the service is always stopping
automaticallyor how I can prevent the service from being stopped? Thank you very much for your help!</span><p
