I really like some of the features Tom listed, but I tend to agree with
Bruce on this one; none of those features are terribly compelling. We
could release without win32 or replication, but those are the "biguns",
and without one of those I think 7.4 will be less than exciting. I sure
part of Tom's concern is what happens when June 1st rolls around and
win32/replication still isn't ready? Perhaps the official feature freeze
date should be kept as May 1st, at which time we'll reevaluate where
win32/replication stand and make a decision at that time. This way no
one should be taken by surprise if feature freeze actually sticks on May
1st, and we'll know if we're looking at extending development by a
couple of weeks for a killer app, or if the features are more than a
month off we can decide to go on without them.
