Part VI. Upgrade and Migration
For PPEM 1.0, there is no upgrade process, because version 2.0 is not backward compatible with version 1.0. However, the migration guide is available.
For PPEM 2.x, there is a unified upgrade process that can be performed in one of the following ways:
Sequentially, for example, 2.3 → 2.4 → 2.4.1 → 2.5.
Non-sequentially, for example, 2.3 → 2.5.
It is recommended to upgrade PPEM frequently to ensure access to recent fixes and improvements.
