For what it's worth, it's my understanding that it is not a *new* logo, but rather an interpretation of the official logo that's used in the header of the main site. The official logo is still the official logo.

That's because i asked myself exactly the same question two weeks ago when i started working on the new PGEU rollups :-)
As far as i can tell there's no SVG version of the new logo on the pgfroundry page, so i had to draw it using inkscape and the old one.
