Reasons:

1) It is the announcement for the Postgres core project.

2) Calling out projects is the community declaring winners and I don't
we should be in that game.

3) It is an announcement and most folks quit reading after the first
paragraph anyway.

4) It is a Beta announcement and the fact that the code is at that stage
is enough of an incentive for those that care.
