Done.  I gave Lamar his own paragraph.

For now I also dropped the link to the patches directory since it's
a major version behind and I dropped the bindist link since it's now
three minor versions behind and only has one binary in it.  If either
suddenly become active I can put them back in easy enough.  All of 
this is on the Download page.
