I followed this tutorial (linking it in case anyone has a similar troubles
in the future) on installing the RPMs:

worked out great!

Oh, then just uninstall the RPMs, rm -Rf the
/var/lib/whereeverpostgresqlputsdata directory and install the new rpms
and you're gold.
