My MacBook Air runs OS X 10.8.5 and pgAdmin III was packaged by EnterpriseDB and downloaded from


Is is possible that this version of pgAdmin is configured differently than yours?

Note: "Auto indent" was already enabled when I installed PostgreSQL.

Shouldn't the default be to have "Auto indent" disabled ?

I don't think so. Why do you suggest that (assuming we solve whatever issue you're seeing)?

I found that in case when this mode is disabled and there are no indents in sql editor, everything seems to be alright.
