2ndQuadrant would be interested in hearing from people with a strong
background in testing, or from developers willing to dedicate
themselves to formal testing projects. Work will cover customer-facing
work and internally led development projects. Preference to testing
knowledge and interest comes above experience with PostgreSQL and code
base, though excellent database knowledge is required for all roles.
Knowledge of performance, security and high availability is also very
useful. So if you have a playful desire to break things, find the
exact point of breakage then write a program to make sure it never
happens again, get in touch. If you can plan a testing project,
explain to everyone how it will happen and then show metrics to allow
us to control progress, you'll be at the head of the queue.
