Thomas,

Does the readline support work?  I've been trying to compile it so that the command line in pgsql works, but have had no success.  I even tried RPMs from mandrake cooker but that opens up a 'whole new can of worms'. ... need to install Python 2.2 .. that won't compile without so and so, etc, etc ...

Never seems to be easy!!!

Thanks

Ben

I've uploaded Mandrake RPMs built using Lamar Owen's source RPM
(unchanged btw) to

  ftp.postgresql.org:/pub/binary/RPMS/mandrake-8.1/

Lamar, is /var/spool/ftp the right location on that machine, or is it
rsync'd (or something) from another machine or location?
