You pretty much need to install from the same repo for PostGIS.
Otherwise you will most likely run into compatibility issues.
From here:
https://apt.postgresql.org/pub/repos/apt/pool/main/p/postgis/
I only see 3.0.1 and 3.0.3 as options.
