The other Greg's just made a quick prototype. I was all for the catalog
when we created it, as it was (and still is) better than what we had before.
But there is no shame in admitting later on that it is not working out,
and could be improved upon. It's certainly much better than pgfoundry's
listings, which as other have pointed out, does more harm than good. In
that respect, I'd like us to be a little *less* like CPAN. Using CPAN
is great if you already know what you want, but there is no way to sort
the good from the bad, or know which of 10 similar projects to choose.
