Ah, found it.. in the doc's no less :-)

CREATE TRIGGER tsvectorupdate BEFORE INSERT OR UPDATE
ON tblMessages FOR EACH ROW EXECUTE PROCEDURE
tsvector_update_trigger(tsv, 'pg_catalog.english', strMessage);
