An additional tool to use is Altavista's Babelfish:
http://world.altavista.com/tr
You can cut-n-paste in the French (other languages too), and it'll translate it to English. Generally it's good enough
tobe able to understand what the
requestor is after.
Makes it easier to figure out where to direct the request, etc. :)
Our official French translator is:

And others are often able to assist as well.
