I tested it in CentOS 5.2 and Windows XP, both got error.

DB version: 8.3.5
pgAdmin: 1.8.4
In Windows XP:
DB: 8.2.11 and 8.3.5
pgAdmin: 1.8.4 and 1.9.0-dev
