Hi,
I have problem start database.
1) I compile postgresql 7.3.3 with parameters.
./configure --enable-nls --enable-multibyte --enable-locale
2) Then set env variables ,
export LANG=cs_CZ
3) initdb -D /my_cz_db
Initdb returned :
The files belonging to this database system will be owned by user
"postgres".
This user must also own the server process.
The database cluster will be initialized with locale cs_CS.
This locale setting will prevent the use of indexes for pattern matching
operations. If that is a concern, rerun initdb with the collation order
set to "C". For more information see the Administrator's Guide.
