Hello,
From the page:
http://jdbc.postgresql.org/download.html
it says:
"These are the pre-compiled drivers for the current production version of
PostgreSQL" re the latest stable drivers.
I would like to download and install this, using my application server that
is installed on a Java 2 environment (Win 2000), to make a JDBC connection.
When following the 'Java 2' link, I am prompted to download a .jar file. By
its nature, does that .jar file not need compiling? Would it not be a Java
class call? I thought that pre-compiled meant it was just that? Also, be it
a class that is called to make JDBC connection, is it a single class that is
used/called?
Thanks for your help
