This release is based on Postgres Pro Shardman 18.3.2 and PostgreSQL 18.3. As compared with Postgres Pro Shardman 18.3.2, the following differences are worth mentioning:

Compared to Postgres Pro Shardman 18.3.2:

  • Fixed an issue where an incorrect decision to use the fast path execution is made when updating a sharding key.

E.2.2. Management Utilities #

Compared to Postgres Pro Shardman 18.3.2:

  • Added the shardmanctl cluster maintenance set command to manage the maintenance mode on the specified PostgreSQL instances in a cluster.

  • Fixed an issue where the default value of the --data-dir parameter is used instead of the configured value for standby Postgres Pro Shardman clusters.

  • Fixed an issue where an existing standby Postgres Pro Shardman cluster cannot be reinitialized.

  • Fixed the CVE-2026-33815, CVE-2026-33816, and CVE-2026-39882 vulnerabilities.
