Part III. Quick Start

This part describes the basic installation procedure for PPEM in the following minimal environment:

A single host for the manager.
A single host for the agent.
It is assumed that the agent will be installed on the host with an existing Postgres Pro DBMS. After the installation is complete, this DBMS will be managed via PPEM.

For information on installing PPEM on multiple hosts and advanced installation procedures, refer to Part IV.
