Postgres Pro Enterprise Manager with AI-assistant — video review
In the review, Product Manager Boris Pishchik explained how Postgres Pro Enterprise Manager works, what tasks it addresses, and what's new in release 2.7: an AI assistant, a WAL archiving configuration wizard, a cluster change log, ASE enhancements, and new resource accounting capabilities.
The key innovation of this release is the integration of the Ask Postgres AI assistant directly into the platform's interface. Moreover, unlike other graphical DBMS management platforms on the market, the AI assistant is also available in the trial version of PPEM 2.7. The new version also introduces a cluster change history log, a WAL archiving configuration wizard, and improvements to the active session history module.
Version 2.7 develops the platform as a unified workspace for enterprise DBA tasks: an administrator can get expert support faster, view the history of changes in the infrastructure, configure critical backup processes, and analyze performance without switching between different tools.
