Hi John,
just can't reproduce this here on a debian/sarge. The packages uploaded to etch are the same one as sarge's (when I
builtthem, sarge was just released and etch really near from it). Can you provide more details please? maybe a
screenshot?The locale you are using, and maybe the pgadmin.log file after positionning a high level of debug. 

@hackers: does someone suffer about such a behaviour?
