that's a question I also asked to myself sometime ago... What's the reason we don't have a connection to a local socket
inthe connection dialog ? Is it because it would be Unix specific code and we don't want to make the app
platform-specific(I mean no platform-specific functionalities) ? (just as we don't want to develop specific
copy/paste/olecode for W32 users).
