I see the packages, and I am not getting an error.
This is what happens:
First, I make sure that I have the latest repository file installed:
> sudo dnf install -y
https://download.postgresql.org/pub/repos/yum/reporpms/F-42-x86_64/pgdg-fedora-repo-latest.noarch.rpm

Nothing to do.
Then I verify that it didn't install it as *.rpmnew:
> ls /etc/yum.repos.d/pgdg-*
/etc/yum.repos.d/pgdg-fedora-all.repo
There is only one v18 repository defined in the file.
I am trying to make sure that it is enabled:
> sudo dnf config-manager setopt pgdg18-updates-testing.enabled=1
But "dnf" only finds the Alpha packages:
> sudo dnf install postgresql18-server
Updating and loading repositories:
Repositories loaded.
Package "postgresql18-server-18-alpha_20250417_PGDG.f42.x86_64" is already installed.
Nothing to do.
