How do you expect developers to fix it, if you don't give the situation
where it crashes?

Essentially, the developers need to know how to recreate the problem, in
order to characterise the problem and to check that any proposed fix works.

Am tempted to suggest that you upgrade to Linux, you may not have a
choice in the matter...  :-)
