I can't tell for sure, but I hope that backup by snapshot is not the way that
most serious PostgreSQL installations work. A snapshot dies with the storage
system.
Apart from that, I have to stretch my imagination to perceive three file systems
instead of one as a substantial hurdle to understanding a system setup.
