    Well, welcome to the project.

A few 'rules', if you hadn't noticed them yet. Any patches you
submit? Send them to pgsql-patches@postgresql.org, or else they tend to
get 'lost'...not often, but its been known to happen.

As far as patches are concerned right now, any patches submitted
are *very* carefully assessed for their worth...well, that's not quite a
fair way to say it. Basically, for the most part, patches sent to the
lists are committed by me...v6.1 was supposed to be released, hrmmm...just
over a month ago. About the only patches I'm committing now are stuff that
are obvious bug fixes. Stuff that are merely 'improvements' are avoided
with a ten foot pole.

So...if you post a patch that doesn't get applied prior to v6.1
being released, and you feel it has merit, *please* resubmit it after the
release, as it has a much better chance of being added in...

And someone should really write this up as a "Developers/Submitters
Handbook"..then again, we should really come up with something like that
for those interested in helping out :)
