I understand you're tired with 6.1 release,
please excuse me if I'm a bit off-topic :-)
I was wondering What must be a correct way to run postgres by
postmaster if consider nice level of a parent process.
Uuhg, a little bit messy but let me explain what I mean:
I run perl script which connects to postgres and make some
select. This script I run as nice -10 script.pl and I expect
that postmaster will run postgres with the same nice level
but it does this thing everytime with nice level 0
(I didn't test what what will happens if I run postmaster with
another nicety).
How I can run postgres with specific nicety ?
