Hello,

it isn't problem. You can write

SELECT INTO ....
IF FOUND THEN
 ...
END IF

or

SELECT INTO  ..
GET DIAGNOSTICS variable = ROW_COUNT;
IF variable > 0 THEN
  ...
END IF
