One thing I thought would be nice would be a client only install.  Say I'm
running a server on Solaris and want to make psql available on linux
stations which will access the Solaris server.  Right now, unless I've
missed something, I'm stuck installing the whole package.  No big problem
but if you're overhaulling the install..... :-)
